Writing novels is my one true passion in life. I've been writing a novel each year since I was fifteen. However, to devote the amount of time to writing that it deserves, I need to be able to support myself with my craft. I am in an awkward in-between stage right now, halfway to being a commercial fiction artist but still forging relationships and deals that will propel me there. Maybe it's in the cards for me, but maybe not. If not, I'll still be releasing novels online.
The books are free because it's easier to get people interested that way. But if you enjoyed it, I have set up a kind of retroactive payment for my time. Please consider donating an amount you feel is appropriate for an e-book of the quality you read. If you didn't enjoy the book, then it was free. If you did, then please let your conscience guide you to send a few dollars my way. I have fond dreams of forgoing the traditional writer-publisher relationship and interacting directly with my fans, but that won't work unless readers and fans start voting with their wallets.
